Gold Table Builder

Build the business layer visually. Zero Spark SQL hand-written.

Drag Silver tables onto a canvas. Set joins, output columns, aggregations, and WHERE filters. Skionis generates the production Spark SQL job, deploys it to Databricks, and registers the Gold Delta table in Unity Catalog.

Connect your Databricks workspace

Drop in your workspace URL and credentials. Skionis discovers your Unity Catalog structure, sets up Bronze, Silver, and Gold schemas, and validates connectivity in under five minutes.

Connect your sources

Pick from pre-built connectors for MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Salesforce, files, and APIs. Unstructured sources work too: PDFs, scans, and contracts are parsed into typed tables with Databricks AI Functions. Credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and written to your Databricks secret scope.

Configure ingestion

Select sync mode (Full Refresh or Incremental with a watermark column) and set a cron schedule. Skionis generates the PySpark ingestion notebook, deploys it, and wires the Databricks job. Ten source tables wired in under two hours.

Shape the Silver layer

Map source columns to clean names. Set data types, apply null filters, and configure dedup keys. The transformation notebook is generated with watermark-driven incremental logic on Delta's Change Data Feed.

Define the Gold tables

Drag Silver tables onto the visual JOIN canvas. Select join types, keys, output columns, and aggregations. Skionis generates and deploys the Spark SQL Gold job. The output is registered in Unity Catalog as managed Delta tables.

Apply governance

Define column masks and row filters in the Skionis UI. Apply them to Unity Catalog. Skionis renders the live SQL and executes it against your workspace. Tag each column with the purposes it's allowed to serve. Declare each Gold table's actual purpose.
